Hagiography
Hagiography works from a significant Convent library, originally printed mainly in the 17th & 18th Centuries.
New publications in eBooks.
Hagiography means Bbiographical works and descriptions of Saints or long forgotten Saints.
These works, spanning eras rich in religious, historical, and literary significance, offer invaluable insights into the spiritual and cultural fabric of their time. They reflect the devotion and scholarly pursuits of anonymous writers who captured the essence of sanctity, tradition, and theology across centuries.
It means also an idealistic point of view to hl. Saint.
We offer a selection of works, originally mainly published in the 17th & 18th centuries.
From the 19th century we have only one title, however interestingly enough, it was originally published in French Language and in the year 1934, one year after Hitler came to power.
But first things first, here is a brief introduction why and how we present some text pagess in ENGLISH LANGUAGE together with GERMAN LANGUAGE texts in the same page.
Approx. half of our titles are in German Language, including names of collections, sets, subsets, Biographic Records etc. Therefore, we decided to leave all related Webpages in German Language. And where adequate to content of our Media / eBooks, of course we introduced such Webpages in English Language or French Language.
We continue in German language with some brief Author / title listings ***:
